Japanese Language Tips

【Introduction】

Many successful current and former JET participants claim that one of the keys to a meaningful JET Programme experience is taking advantange of the opportunity to study Japanese in an immersive environment.

CLAIR provides correspondence courses at three different levels, as well as advanced courses for JET participants who qualify.

However, language acquisition is not a uniform process, as many JET participants who are teaching their native language in Japan well know. This section will offer tips and advice for studying Japanese from JET senpai (current or former participants) who have volunteered to share their experiences. We sincerely hope these tips will supplement the instructional materials we provide and also serve as an inspiring and useful resource for JET participants of all levels of study.
